Dllhost.exe Error - How to Dllhost.exe Error

Cannot open any .exe files? How to fix exe error?
Okay, here's the info:
- I had the virus "Win 7 Total Security 2011" -- I manually got rid of it via regedit

- Once I logged back in there were no traces of the virus

- One problem remains, and it's a big one
- I cannot open ANY .exe files whatsoever (including regedit, so I cannot edit the registry)
- I downloaded a free trial of a good antivirus software, but once in downloads, I could not run the installer for it
- When I try to even change tabs in Internet, the same error message pops up, just with a different name

- Here is an example of the error messages (from changing tabs in Internet Explorer):
"C:\PROGRA~2\Java\jre6\bin\ssvagent.ex…
'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Pleae install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel'"

Is this a legit error message? (I ask this because of the virus)
If so, do I have to associate programs for .exe files? How? (I don't even know what this all means)
If I have to do the associate thing, is there a way to restore something so that my computer is back to normal?

Dllhost.exe is a file used by the "Norton Internet Security" range of programs, and is used primarily by the "Symantec Service Framework" to help your computer load up the various files, settings & options that it requires to run. Even though this program is a very important part of the Norton suite of programs, it's actually one of the main causes of errors on your system, especially known for when it shows when you try to initiate a shut-down of your PC.

This Dllhost.exe error continually shows in this format:

* Dllhost.exe - Application error The instruction at "0x059a2df" referenced memory at 0x059a2df" the memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate the Program.

Dllhost.exe errors form because the program either has a problem or is corrupted. This not only causes the error above to show, but will also lead your system to perform in some other strange ways. If you see this error on your system, you need to get rid of it in the most effective way possible - by first ensuring the "Norton" software on your computer is working correctly, as well as then fixing any potential problems that Windows has.

The way to fix this error is to first update Norton to make it run as smoothly & effectively as possible. This can be done using the "Live Update" feature of the software to obtain the latest patches for the version you're running. This may fix the Dllhost.exe error, but more often than not - it will require much more than just a simple update. If you find that the error still occurs after updating your system, yo should then remove Norton from your PC and then reinstall a fresh copy. This should replace the file on your computer, and will hopefully cure any of the issues that it may have had.

It's recommended that you use a "registry cleaner" program to fix any of the files, settings and options that could be corrupted inside the "registry" and causing these errors to show. The registry is a large database which stores all sorts of important information for your system, and is where the Dllhost.exe file keeps a lot of its settings & options that it requires to run. Unfortunately, this file is continually being damaged - leading your computer to run extremely slowly and with a lot of errors as a result. To fix this, you should use a registry cleaner tool to fix any of the potential problems that this file has inside the registry of your system - which should fix the error and stop it recurring.

Dllhost.exe popup on task manager?
Everytime I restart my computer, a pop up appears saying

"error loading c:/users/sara/appdata/local/ohoyiziy.dll this specified module cannot be found."

I started Task Manager and dllhost.exe is present. Is there anyway I can get rid of this popup? should I "end task" to dllhost.exe?

any help is much appreciated! thank you!

dllhost.exe is a Windows file (assuming it's in the System32 folder). Ending that process is not going to solve anything. The error message you are getting refers to a malware file that is no longer on your computer. The file is gone but there is still a registry entry for it that calls for the file to load. Try using Fix Helpmate, do a quick scan, hopefully that will take care of it. Otherwise it's possible to find the registry entry yourself using regedit and delete it but that takes some knowledge of using regedit.

dllhost.exe Application error?
I have this error a few weeks ago, but i don't care really about it, but now it forced me to temporarily use Chrome until it fixed. The error is memory error, but it's not "memory could not be read" error, it read like this:
"The exception of unknown software exception 0xc0000409 occurred in the application at location 0x01e13335"
Here's the screenshot to straighten things up.

I just finished creating a map in map editor.. and went to play my masterpiece online when the AirGCFG.exe instantly crashed and i got this error...

This application has encountereda critical error:

FATAL ERROR!

The instruction at '0x6F430C91' referenced memory at 0x00000012.
The memory could not be 'read'.

Press OK to terminate the application

i been playing it online a while and been making small adjustments each time..this is first time i have problem and only happens when first unit is killed ..

When you have started your system suddenly you have found that there is a problem in your system. You have found that there is an error regarding Airgcfg.exe file which is a process linked with Airplus Wireless Router driver from D-Link. This is an important file for incessant and secure running of your system. This program should not be terminated otherwise, it can generate an error. If technically, you are not too much sound means you need a help to fix airgcfg.exe error. For help either you will go with a professional technician or implement manual steps by yourself or use automatic fix tool. Obviously a technician will cost you more.

How much the computer technologies are getting advances that much they also getting volatile in important areas as stability and productivity. Each and every user wants to be alert from such type of errors. Obviously all the computer users should know about the symptoms of errors those are occurring in the system. Computer problems always seem to pop up out of the blue, however, they're common so let's tackle it. When your system is suffering from airgcfg.exe error then system will automatically perform slow and can also generate error messages regarding to same executable file. If you will not get rid of this error then time by time several functions of your Windows will not work properly.

Virus problem--- there is one error shown in my pc AirGCFG.exe-drive not ready, winalog.exe,?
it doesn't allows to open task manager.. and doesn't allows to install antivirus like avast, avira... and ccleaner... i am having k7 antivirus but this is not full version so there is no security... my system processing is always up-to 50-70 % my system works very slow... many times it automatically doing works like deleting file... tell me if you having any solution for this... i had been tried to kill the process of AirGCFG.exe but doesn't works... i had been read on google search that this is trojan virus... i dont know what is this... tell me id you were having any solution...

You might think about the fact those causes such type exe or dll errors. So the most common reasons are viruses and registry errors occur in your Windows due to which such type of errors take place. But the chief reason of this exe error is a result of a clash between the new version of wlanapi.dll introduced with XP Service Pack 3 and airGCFG.exe, the D-link monitoring file. And it is very important to fix this error immediately otherwise it can corrupt other files too.

So get the best solution to fix Airgcfg.exe in two ways, either you can fix it manually or by using automatic fix tool. You can fix it manually by downloading and installing the latest device driver for your wireless network adapter from the D-Link website or remove this exe icon from the Startup Items list. But it has been recommended that don't use manual steps to fix the issue if you are technically not sound. Any wrong step can corrupt your application and even Windows too.

That's why the last and the best solution to fix this exe error is automatic fix tool i.e. Airgcfg.exe error fix tool. It not only fixes the issue but also retrieve space and memory by eliminating duplicate and temporary files. It also stops slowdowns, reducing performance and get rid of common errors by cleaning the Windows Registry.

Firefox causes entire computer to freeze?
I've been experiencing a lot of computer freezes lately. This only happens when I use firefox. I am unable to use any method to exit the program. Computer problems, could be a virus but I'm not exactly sure what's going on-HELP!?
So I have an HP Pavilion running Windows Vista Home Premium. I've ran into problems with it before, most of them were fairly easy to solve but this one, not so much. I've recently been having a combination of seemingly unrelated problems:

1) Windows can't check for updates.
2) Windows help center doesn't work. It can't load any topics or anything.
3) I keep getting error messages that Windows Indexer stopped working.
4) Downloads in Firefox have been running extremely slowly, nothing like usual.
5) This is the strangest one: USB Devices (flash drives, my phone, etc.)

Is my Windows 7 corrupted and if so can it be fixed?

I tried changing my password this morning, and it came up with an error message stating the "old password" was incorrect (although I had just used it to log on..), so I left it, locked my computer and tried to log back on. Now, all it says is that I have the wrong password. I am dual-booting Windows 7, and the 2nd one is what I'm using now. I used this to create a password reset disc. When I tried using it on my locked Windows 7, and it came up with an error stating that an error had occured whilst trying to reset the password..! I have also tried using all of the Windows 7 Repair Discs available to me, no functions of which helped.

Are you getting Blue Screen errors all of a sudden?

This is more a warning than a question. If you are suddenly getting lots of blue screen errors in Windows 7, check to see if SP1 has been installed in your windows updates. Many people are experiencing problems with blue screen errors with different things, some when putting the computer to sleep, in my case when using my network server.

SP1 can be uninstalled from the Programs & Features section by clicking on View Installed Updates and right clicking on Service Pack and selecting uninstall.

I've put this warning up as many people simply use automatic updates and may not be aware that the service pack has been installed. Also I myself did not make the connection between the blue screen errors and the service pack until I installed SP1 on a second system and had the exact same problem with my network storage.

Backup your system before uninstalling, although I had no problems after uninstalling, it is always a wise precaution.

Secondly the above is only likely to be relevant if the blue screen errors have started recently and suddenly and you haven't just installed new hardware.

Hey, Sir! Will you help me remove Windows 7 dll error message plz?

Run. Dll startup problem, Windows 7? How to fix windows 7 error?
Every time I start my comp (E525 eMachines, HP with Windows 7) I get three popups. 2 of them are identical and read that:

There was a problem starting
C: \ Users \ Melissa \ AppData \ Local \ awurana ...

The specified module could not be found

And another says exactly the same except that SteDEC.dll.

What are these things. Dll, and how I can fix this? My comp seems to be running as usual. Good speed, no viruses ... Only these things pop pass "when I start my computer.

Is your computer constantly gives you Windows Installer error? Does your computer experience problems when trying to start a Windows Update? Well, if your computer is having problems with the installer, here are a couple of things you can do to fix the problem.

Do a system restore to remove Windows 7 dll message popup

Most of the time when the computer asks your installer with the error, is associated with a previous faulty update. To correct this problem, a method you can use is to do a system restore. A system reset takes his team to a point where the faulty update was not, thus restoring your PC to their functional status.

To succeed in doing a system restore, you must click the Start button located on the taskbar. Once you click the Start button, point to All Programs "and find" Accessories ". In accessories, you should see a file called" System Tools. "Click" System Tools "and you will see a program called system restore.

Once open, you will be asked to choose a restore point. It is best to choose a restore point before the faulty update of the desired results. Did a system restore did not repair the Windows Installer error? Then there may be a more serious problem with your computer. 85% of most installation errors are associated with an entry in the registry is damaged. In order to correct and prevent the error messages, you should use a registry cleaner (RC).

Repair Windows Installer Error with registry cleaners

The Windows registry acts as the brains behind the CPU and is a key component that controls all your PC applications and functions, and contributes to the performance of your PC. The purpose of a RC is to help repair and correct all errors that have accumulated over years of use and restore your PC back to its original "outside the box" state.

Want to repair and prevent the blue screen of death, guaranteed? Visit: Top Registry Cleaners. There are literally 100 different research centers in the market today and many of them intended to speed up your computer. However, the reality is that only a handful of registry cleaners are truly effective and are even safe to use.

Unresponding error messages?
It seems I have a lot of not answering the messages ... I'm running Windows 7.

Microsoft Office errors. PLEASE! I need help!?
So I had Microsoft Office Professional (downloaded from a legitimate website, not Microsoft, because it was more than $ 300 cheaper) and was working fine, but then one day it stopped working. Do not open any files or anything.

Then I found another version of Microsoft on my laptop and use that. Seemed fine, except that the language was not installed or review sets the style for headings and subheadings. So I uninstalled Office, with Revo Uninstaller I was unable to uninstall from the Control Panel.

Anyway, after trying to uninstall and reinstall it, it failed. It starts to install and then I get a message saying "Setup has encountered an error." Which is not specified!

(I have Windows 7 and a 64-bit system, but installing Office 32 bits, as it seems most compatible)

Note: I also tried to install the Microsoft 64-bit and did not work. They said I had to uninstall the programs associated with the 32-bit, but when listing items, did not show!

Please help!

Security virus or Windows exe error?
So I like to think I keep my team in good shape but suddenly today I get a fake anti-virus starts sending me system errors and false virus alerts and security make pop-up windows every few seconds tells me the computer is infected. I scanned the computer with up to date Avast, SUPER anti-spyware, Spybot Search and Destroy and Malwarebytes. Found the fraud of the virus and got rid of it ... But still the notification. exe for Windows security wouldnt let me finish the process and kept getting the red balloons in the corner and then I realized that I would not connect to internet through Firefox and IE ... So I did a system restore, but still will not let me connect (Iv managed to connect by clicking on a link added in Super anti-spyware), but none of the anti-virus and anti-spyware are finding another thing I do not know what is wrong .. (I can connect to online games, etc. .. But web browsers.)

malware often attach themselves to other files or programs, and when removed, also removed some features. I guess to start I would make sure that is gone, start networking in safe mode, update and run all scanners. if you clean, put a mark on the disk check box, the properties, the My Computer icon, then Tools. and is executed at startup. this can not help but not hurt.

Every time I run full system scan, however, it just freezes half and said that the computer shuts down unexpectedly. I do not know what else to do so any help is appreciated.

So I have my family to see him, and we have this thing in the start-up items that seem pretty suspicious. It Jfatiwog call, it is rundll32.exe command, command is "C:. \ Users \ ..... \ AppData \ Local \ mtagryn ... And its location is HKLM \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentV ... mtagryn.dll is what appears in the message. But as I said his name may change. We have now unclick from the beginning, and never showed up again when you restart the computer. But I'm not sure if the virus is still the computer or what.

You have a rootkit. It hides in the protected system files and is recreated every time you think has been eliminated. Can be almost impossible to leave the boot drive. I had to remove the units and analysis from a Mac to get them.

Windows Vista is really as bad as people say it is? I use it?!
do not see where its so bad at all, especially if your PC came with Windows Vista ...... my hardware isn't designed for Windows 7 and every time I put Windows 7 on my PC acting up and I get blue screens of death all the time ... criticized the mistakes of drivers drive me up the wall and so I'm forced to use Vista and do not see where its so bad at all. she came to indeed mistakes after all you have Service Pack 2 for .....

When I bought my computer hp more than two years ago, I had Vista installed on it. I had heard stories about Vista are well and doing all sorts of problems. I've never had any problems with it. I've had more problems with IE I've had with Vista. I will continue using all the time it takes my computer. I'm on your side.

Most people who complain that they are so accustomed to XP do not want to learn to use it. To upgrade to Windows 7, you should update your drivers too. And I mean everyone. I know how. Not enough space here to tell you how. Do not waste your money you have a computer store to do if you do not know someone who can. Ignore Windows Update trying to fix windows error and have fun with it.

I'm still using my HP Compac Presario 2004 with XP Pro now has another CD R / W, a 80 GB hard drive (the original 40 Gb is used for backup), 1 GB of RAM (came with 256 Mb ) and a Sound Blaster / vidio card for games and parties.
